We are team enough

We are Team ENOUGH, a youth-led organization whose mission is to educate young voices about gun violence and mobilize them to take meaningful action against it. Supported by Brady, we harness the expertise and experience of today’s youth to advance our intersectional work across the country.

We are survivors of gun violence; we are students; we are activists: we are people who experience gun violence in different ways — and to different degrees.

This epidemic has an outsized impact on Black and Brown communities, disproportionately spilling their blood in school shootings, in angry encounters between friends and family, in acts of self-harm and suicide, and in conflicts born of domestic violence — avoidable tragedies, one and all, each made more lethal by easy access to guns.

But we believe that diversity is a strength, and that only when everyone has a seat at the table can we build an effective movement to prevent all gun violence in all communities.

Policy Priorities

We care deeply about gun violence and its disproportionate impact on vulnerable communities. Read our plan to take action against gun violence.

For us, preventing gun violence not only requires regulating access to firearms, but also addressing how systemic racism and environmental factors cause this form of bloodshed to run especially rampant in communities of color.

You cannot talk about gun violence without talking about police brutality, white supremacy, the broken criminal justice system, poverty, homophobia, access to affordable housing, or the often insurmountable barriers separating disadvantaged populations from physical and mental healthcare.

Complex issues call for comprehensive solutions, and Team ENOUGH is prepared to take actions which will produce the answers we need.

We are led by our Executive Council, young people from around the country with proven skills in organizing, advocacy, and policymaking. Galvanized by our personal experiences with gun violence, we create programming aimed to mentor, activate, and mobilize young people.

Executive Council

More than two-thirds of the Team ENOUGH Executive Council are people of color, LGBTQ, and from diverse faith backgrounds. Meet our leadership now!

Our voice is unique. Alongside Brady, we bridge the gap between young and old while providing students a national platform to advance bold ideas and policies. With a focus on electoral and legislative organizing, we elevate the voices of young people — people whose words are not normally heard — to create real change in the halls of power, and we invite the speakers comprising this youth-led space to create a lane for change alongside Team ENOUGH.

United as one, fed up and fired up, we will educate America about gun violence — and mobilize all Americans against it!
