We’re Saying ENOUGH to Gun Violence

Team ENOUGH is a youth-led initiative that educates and mobilizes young people in the fight to end gun violence.

We’re a program by Brady, American’s oldest and boldest gun violence prevention organization.

We helped elect a gun violence prevention majority to the House in the 2018 midterm elections. Now the real work starts — we’re working to pass common-sense legislation and create community change so that every person can live free from the threat of gun violence.

Tell Sen. Mitch McConnell to take action!

There are actions we can take now, today, to make us all safer. The House has already passed a bill to expand background checks and yet it’s still sitting on Senator McConnell’s desk collecting dust. We need to pass this legislation and work to ban assault weapons, high capacity magazines, and enact extreme risk laws.

Tell Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to bring Congress back to Washington now and take immediate action on gun violence.

We’re Fighting Efforts to Arm Teachers in Florida

Florida lawmakers have passed a dangerous bill to allow teachers to carry guns in class. Arming teachers is a dangerous approach that could lead to fatal mistakes. An entire body of research proves that adding guns to schools only increases the risk of harm to students, especially students of color.

It’s clear legislators won’t protect us. So it’s in our hands to act.

Team ENOUGH student leaders in Florida are organizing in their local communities. We’ve had big success: So far, school boards in three counties (Manatee, Sarasota, and Tampa) have declined to join the program to arm teachers.

If you live in Florida, use our toolkit to stand up for school safety with your local school board.
