Sick and Tired of Gun Violence? Take Action with Team ENOUGH!
The University of Virginia. Club-Q. A Walmart in Chesapeake, VA.
Recently, our country has been devastated by senseless, preventable mass shootings. We at Team ENOUGH are thinking of the victims, survivors, and communities that will be forever impacted by this violence.
These tragedies serve as a reminder of why it's so important that we continue to advocate and organize for a safer future — a future without the fear of being shot and killed in schools, clubs, and grocery stores. You can help us achieve this future. Please consider joining or starting a Team ENOUGH chapter in your community. You’ll help us ban assault weapons, disarm hate, and save lives.
Did you miss the first deadline to apply to join the Team ENOUGH Virginia or Florida Lobbying Collective? If so, you’re in luck: We extended the deadline for students (ages 13-26) to apply until Monday, December 5, at midnight.
Will you apply right now? We need your help lobbying lawmakers for life-saving solutions following devastating shootings across the country. Don’t live in Florida or Virginia? Please help us spread the word by sharing our application on Twitter!
Don't have any experience lobbying? That's OK!
Leading up to lobby days with state legislators, we’ll join training webinars with experts from Brady on grassroots advocacy, policies on the state level, and more. Then, we’ll take our skills straight to the halls of power, virtually! Please apply now to join the only national, youth-led group lobbying lawmakers for gun reform!
Gun Violence Prevention Was On the Ballot
Despite what the pundits claimed, young people showed up in record numbers on Election Day and played a significant role in electing candidates who prioritize gun violence prevention.
Leading up to this historic youth turnout, we hit the roads with Brady for a Florida Bus Tour with Maxwell Frost, the first Gen Z candidate elected to Congress, and our partners at Change the Ref to engage students on our issue and help get out the vote!
Our generation has grown up in a world devastated by gun violence. But by electing candidates who prioritize our safety, we can become the generation to end this epidemic. Please follow us on Twitter to keep up with our life-saving efforts.
In November, Executive Council Member Stephan Abrams spoke with high school students in Washington, D.C., about speaking up about issues that directly impact our generation, like gun violence. Stephan covered Team ENOUGH’s mission, key statistics and policy priorities, and how people like you can get involved in the fight against gun violence.
Is your high school or university looking to discuss gun violence? Please contact Stephan at sabrams@teamenough.org. Team ENOUGH is always looking to speak with students, educators, and staff about how they can address gun violence in their community.
Do you want to ramp up your advocacy with Team ENOUGH? Attend our monthly grassroots call every Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET. Drop in to meet our staff, fellow youth leaders, and coalition partners to discuss future events, welcome new members, and more.
